We are looking for a WOMAN RTW RETAIL MERCHANDISING based in MILAN.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition of merchandising guidelines, ensuring they reflect the global strategic direction while incorporating consumer insights, competitive landscape analysis, and regional market dynamics.
- Drive cross‑regional alignment on buying strategy, guiding teams in the interpretation of seasonal priorities, key themes, product mix guidelines, and quantitative targets to ensure consistent and high‑quality execution worldwide.
- Oversee and govern buying activities throughout the sales campaign, ensuring strategic coherence across regions, adherence to timelines, and effective collaboration among central and regional stakeholders.
- Lead in‑season performance analysis, monitoring sell‑in, sell‑out, stock levels, and category trends to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and recommend strategic actions that maximize product lifecycle value and commercial results.
- Strengthen brand expression through cross-functional collaboration, partnering with Visual Merchandising to ensure that windows and in-store displays consistently reflect the collection narrative and reinforce brand identity.
- Ensure seamless integration and close collaboration with Collection Merchandising team to execute seasonal product strategies.
- Guide markdown governance, supporting the definition of markdown strategies with data‑driven insights aimed at optimizing margin, sell‑through, and overall category profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Retail Planning in defining the Open‑To‑Buy (OTB) and sales forecasts, ensuring financial planning is grounded in product strategies, market opportunities, and demand expectations.
Requirements:
- 5 years of working experience in similar role in Fashion/Luxury brands
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a responsible way
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Open-minded, curious, methodical and endowed with a sound analytical approach
- Fluent in English
