Valentino is looking for an Intern who will be included in the Valentino Visual Merchandising Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:

  • Provide support in the creation of detailed and functional Visual Merchandising guidelines, assisting in illustrating how collections and products should be displayed.
  • Support the set-up of realistic display and window simulations and mock-ups, helping to transform renderings and product images into tangible, visually impactful proposals.
  • Assist in the editing and manipulation of images and graphic compositions using Photoshop, performing retouching, color corrections and adjustments to ensure visual consistency and quality.
  • Help prepare final files and documents, ready for in-store implementation and internal team communication.
  •  Assist in the collection and organization of post-implementation materials, creating VM reports and presentations that document store set-ups.
  • Support VM guideline photoshoots, contributing to the documentation and capture of displays that will be integrated into the VM Guidelines.
  • Assist during showroom and in-store setups for collection launches, gaining hands-on experience that informs the creation of digital simulations and VM content.
  • Conduct periodic research on competitor displays, boutiques, pop-ups, and any other visual merchandising setups involving products, to inspire and benchmark VM proposals.

 

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Fashion or related fields. A background in Visual Merchandising is considered a plus
  • Strong digital skills and confidence with computers, including efficient navigation of software tools and management systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and InDesign, with ability to create and manipulate high-quality visual content.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Italian and English
