We are looking to hire a SUSTAINABILITY COORDINATOR for a maternity leave cover.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate the preparation of the Group Sustainability Report, including stakeholder engagement, materiality updates, data gathering, and collaboration with the Marketing and Communications department for report editing and layout.
  • Contribute to the Group's decarbonization efforts, particularly in relation to scope 1 and scope 2 emissions.
  • Ensure alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop sustainable strategies, ensuring business practices comply with environmental regulations.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to enhance sustainability awareness within the Company's culture and among employees.
  • Develop and improve Company policies concerning social topics, fashion events, carbon neutrality, and climate change, identifying risks and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Continuously benchmark best practices in sustainability, implementing relevant improvements.
  • Monitor Sustainability KPIs and targets as outlined in the Group Sustainability Strategy, specifically in non-manufacturing areas.
  • Promote and communicate the organization’s sustainability philosophy to internal and external audiences, driving cultural change.
  • Participate in corporate and regional sustainability committees, as well as external associations.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Engineering or Economics.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in similar roles, preferably within the fashion or luxury sectors.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of CSR principles, trends, and tools (e.g., environmental and social standards, ISO certifications, LCA, GRI, ESRS, GHG, SBTi, decarbonization programs).
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects.
