Valentino is looking for a SHIPMENT PLANNING MANAGER based in Valdagno (VI) or alternatively in Milan.

 

Main task activities:

  • Collect business requirements for deliveries from all relevant Parties as Merchandise, Retail Wholesales, Ecommerce teams.
  • Create and implement the HQ Distribution Shipments Plan, at channel, collection and windows group level and events.
  • Share the Shipments Plan contents with all the relevant Stakeholders, Top Management included, and effectively provide an overview of the status of deliveries to Stores / Clients and of turnover targets.
  • Identify and communicate possible criticalities in terms of production delays, warehouse capacity and pick-up availabilities.
  • Set outbound deliveries and returns priorities based on Business needs and on Logistics lead times,
  • Directly coordinate the logistics flow for priority items, with focus on both warehousing and transport activities.
  • Daily monitor the Warehouse backlog and agree the recovery plan as per business priorities
  • Periodically review the Centrale Warehouse release calendar and suggest and communicate possible changes.
  • Collect and manage daily requests coming from Retail and Wholesale commercial Teams and from Regional DCs.
  • Periodically analyse the variance between the Shipments Plan forecast and the actual logistics performance.
  • Maintain and develop Logistics KPIs and Reports and periodically share the results with the Logistics Leaders.

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 4/5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering Economics/Business or a related field.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Advanced Excel and BI Tools.
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain management and previous experience in the Fashion Industry is a plus.
