We are looking for a Global Buyer Indirects - Maternity Cover to be hired for a maternity leave substitution based in Milan.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote the implementation of a cost saving funnel to be continuously fed with relevant saving initiatives.
• Strive the evaluation of spend areas at global level for indirect goods and services to support the growth and the optimization of the industrial and retail network.
• Ensure the finalization of global contracts, ensuring the consensus from key stakeholders within deadlines.
• Contribute to the implementation of a new governance model for the indirect spend from current fully decentralized to a hybrid or centralized model depending on the categories.
• Implement the global category strategy for the procurement of the assigned categories in cooperation with the relevant stakeholders and the Procurement Manager.
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders to implement the procurement digital platform which will increase the level of automation of procurement activities related to Suppliers Onboarding, Sources of Contract and Procure to Pay.
• Support the deployment of a Supplier Management Process.
• Nurture a cost-conscious culture inside the company.

Requirements:

• Degree in technical or economic disciplines – preferably Engineering or Business
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a procurement role with direct responsibility for negotiations
• Strong analytical skills
• Project management skills to manage complex procurement projects involving different processes and stakeholders
• Results-oriented, with the ability to achieve strong results in environments with multiple constraints
• Enthusiastic about innovative ways of working
• Empathetic toward internal stakeholders, with the ability to build fruitful relationships
• Autonomy and a problem-solving attitude
