Overview:

 

This is a full-time, permanent role based out of Dallas, TX or Las Vegas, NV. The Regional Visual Merchandiser Manager is responsible for interpreting and executing Company visual merchandising standards for their area within North America.  This role will report to the Director of Visual Merchandising. They will partner with local US & Mexico team and HQ partners to ensure Valentino standards and guidelines are met at all times.

 

This role is responsible for the visual standards for the stores located in central US and Mexico. The candidate must be based out of Dallas, TX or Las Vegas, NV.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute and oversee the visual presentation of the area/region stores based on company guidelines and directives
  • Updating the weekly visual merchandising photo reports from previous store visits or remote sessions.
  • Working with Visual Director on strategic, regional VM projects.
  • Communicate regularly with Visual Director, Americas on all new guidelines, directives and upcoming launches.
  • Facilitate training sessions on seasonal VM guidelines and directives with each store to ensure consistent and strong brand representation
  • Travel monthly to regional stores to support the visual needs
  • Be able to react quickly to evolving market changes/
  • Responsible for staying within budget for Travel and Expenses.
  • Enhance the brand’s aesthetic by conceptualizing new merchandising solutions
  • Coordinate and execute seasonal window installations, partnering with external vendors when necessary
  • Coordinate and execute floor moves and changes
  • Coordinate Store Openings and Events in their Region if needed
  • Working on visual simulations for upcoming launches and store openings throughout the region.
  • Act as a point of contact to all stores for all visually related questions

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in design, Art, Fashion or related discipline preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in visual display in both retail and wholesale, luxury retail preferred
  • Strong creative and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly and accurately to cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills, quality execution, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and strong problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in Spanish is required.
  • Keen interest in the current trends of visual merchandising.
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with other professionals, be it the buyers, members of the marketing team or retailers.
  • Experience working with external vendors.
