WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

A Women's Leathergoods ( handbags, belts, small leathergoods) category. The  Buyer will execute buying strategies  for DOS stores in USA, Canada and Mexico.

• Manage OTB to meet financial targets at the SKU level for sales, inventory & Sell-through.
• Execute buy process from concept to completion, including the financial planning of sales/inventory, partnership in influencing product development, and the implementation of regional and tiered merchandising strategies.
• Initiate and generate business analysis to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment in order to achieve continued growth and profitability
• Work closely with Inventory Planner to ensure that carry over assortments by door are maximized
• Manage SKU lifecycle from adoption to delete, react to in season sales to determine go forward strategy Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, consumer trend/data, competitive landscape, and local market knowledge to help influence global merchants/design partners
• Develop seasonal training tools and deliver training sessions to Store teams.
• Partner with Marketing, CRM, Visual Merchandising, Store teams to create synergies among all consumer touch points and maximize sales opportunities
• Partner with store teams to solicit qualitative feedback on product, customers, store environments & competition

Requirements:
 

• Requires a minimum of 4 – 6 years retail merchandising buying experience, preferably within luxury fashion.
• Must have extensive negotiation and interaction experience.
• Experience in retail environment with hands-on knowledge of retail processes and procedures;
• Thorough knowledge of merchandising and technical aspects of merchandising (e.g., materials, design, silhouettes, etc.).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Recent experience in product categories (Women’s handbags, belts and small leather goods)
• Ability to partner and influence vendors/cross-functional partners.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong retail math skills.
• Strong PC skills, with an emphasis on spreadsheet and presentation applications.
• Availability to travel (stores visits + international travels to Italy HQ)

Based Salary: $95,000-$110,000 ( based on experience)
