The e-Concession Account & Store Management Intern will join the Valentino e-Business Commercial Team and will support the E-Concession business unit bases in Milan in managing partner accounts and online store performance across key luxury e-commerce platforms. Through data analysis, operational coordination, and business reporting, the intern will contribute to commercial growth initiatives, catalogue excellence, and strategic projects while gaining a comprehensive understanding of e-commerce, digital partnerships, and luxury retail operations.

 

Task & responsabilities:

 

  • Support the management of luxury e-concession partners such as Farfetch, Saks, Ounass, and other strategic accounts.
  • Assist in monitoring partner business performance, identifying risks and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and dashboards.
  • Support business reviews through data collection and performance analysis.
  • Support catalogue excellence initiatives to ensure product visibility, availability, and accuracy across partner platforms.
  • Assist in identifying assortment, availability, and performance opportunities.
  • Support the execution of seasonal launches, product activations, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Track key operational metrics, including order allocation, cancellations, returns, and fulfilment performance.
  • Support catalogue maintenance activities, including product enrichment and content checks.
  • Monitor partner compliance with operational requirements and SLAs.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, meeting materials, and business updates.
  • Support partner onboarding and new e-store launch activities.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support commercial and strategic projects.
  • Develop analytical and business skills through exposure to commercial, operational, and strategic activities within the E-Concessions team.
  • Assist in project management initiatives, contributing to the definition of operational flows and the implementation of processes aimed at improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain daily interactions with internal and external partners, ensuring effective problem-solving, issue resolution, and regular reporting.
  • Serve as an escalation point for catalogue, collection publication, and order/return fulfilment issues related to Digital Marketplaces.
  • Collaborate proactively with cross-functional departments, including Buying, Merchandising, Logistics, Finance, IT, Customer Care, Customs & Tax, Marketing & Communication, among others.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
  • Strong interest in luxury fashion, e-commerce, and digital marketplaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Engineering, Marketing, Fashion Business, Digital Business, or related fields.
  • Previous internship experience in e-commerce, consulting, retail, fashion, or digital business is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken is required.
